This was a very quick read and I am really enjoying this series. If you like your aliens over the top possessive and protective you'll love this story. Lily isn't sure what to expect when she finds herself in space with her "pare bond mate" Darius. She has always felt like she failed at everything in life. She didn't trust men and the one thing she was good at, playing a computer game turns out to be a training simulation and she is recruited fight a war between waring planets. Her only problem is her pare bond mate and partner doesn't believe in her. Or so she thinks. Darius is struggling with the lost of someone and can't imagine losing Lily, so he refuses to allow her to do her job. I love all the space action in this story and the continue battle with Queen Raya. Looking forward to more stories in this world.

A game that's not a game starfigjter finds the best talent in the universe yo help defeat queen Raya. Lily is the last of her friends to be finish the simulation. She knows her friends have disapeared and is determined to find them. Darius has been waiting for lily to finish so he can pick her up. When he does Lily is taken on a adventure of a lifetime both in falling for Darius and fighting the dark fleet. I love Grace Goodwins books. This is no exception it could have been better but was still a fun and sexy adventure in space.

The Starfighter Training Academy Series continues to keep my rapt attention with its most recent addition, Elite Starfighter: Game 3. I absolutely love the premise of this series where a video game is actually a training simulation for humans to become soldiers in an intergalactic war. This has to be one of the most entertaining book series I have ever encountered. In this book, Grace Godwin features Lily Wilson, the last in a trio of virtual players who become real-life friends via the Starfighter Academy Training "Game". She has finally beaten the game and pair bonded with Darius, her chosen partner and perfect mate. Their meetings and interactions are intense and beyond humorous at times. Darius is a true Alpha who is protective and loves to makes sure his pair bond is happy. Lily has quite a mind of her own. They make for a fun pair. Their adventures together are epically interesting. Grace Godwin had quickly become a favorite author for me with this series.
