Great new series
If you read any Grace Goodwin in the past then you will love this one! You get to meet old friends from previous books. However, this is a new planet as well as a new series of books by the author, so starting reading without having to play catch up. The reading is fast, full of action, a hot alpha male, and strong female lead. Great book! Cannot wait to read more from this series.

Ascension Two
Picking up right after number one, Ascension Two opens with Leo being tortured by the clergy, who are evidently evil, and Trinity, Destiny and Faith in the wind. Trinity stealthily rescues Leo using a ship transport and they begin planning her return to Alera to take up the throne and continue the search for Queen Celene. The action moves quickly and more factions are introduced in the Aleran intrigue. It was another fast and fun read that left me wanting more.

Book two of the Ascension saga and like the first book I could not read it fast enough. The story just gets better and better. I can not wait to read the third book.
