Ascension Saga: 2

I am a little but of an addict when it comes to this series, I have read every one of Grace Goodwins books and I love that you get to see some of my favorite couples again in these new stories.Wow this second installment in the ascension series blew me away. Please read part one first or you will be lost as this story picks up right where the first left off. Leo has been captured and tortured for information by the sisters enemies. Although until the end of book one he had no idea the sisters were royals so he has no information to give them about his mate. Trinity must save her mate from the people holding him captive as well as announce her presence to the planet as the heir to the throne of Alera. I honestly read this in less than an hour I was so invested in the characters the pages flew by too quickly. I absolutely adore this new world she has created with strong women and virgin men waiting for their mates. I cannot wait to read the next installment I hate that I have to wait a month to get it but when I do I will finally get to read them all together and I am ridiculously excited about it.

Ascension Saga : Book 2 - Grace Goodwin So far the whole Ascension Saga has been riveting and each book in the series becomes more awesome as the plots evolve and thicken. Overall this is an amazing adventure of a Queen forced to flee her planet and seek refuge on earth. Here she saves her first daughter - The True Princess “Trinity”, then remarries and gives birth to her two half sister twins, now also princesses. The Queen has been abducted from earth and it is time for the Princesses to return to their planet of Alana. Along the way Trinity is sent a select elite warrior ,Leo, to guard her and who of course becomes her destined very hot mate/protector. It’s wonderful how many of the characters and worlds from the other books in the Interstellar Bride Series are woven into the plot and storylines. This expands the whole overall world building and enhances the saga immensely. I am loving this series despite the fact that these are a series of pretty short novellas with frustrating cliffhangers, but they are so worth the ride!

Picking up right after number one, Ascension Two opens with Leo being tortured by the clergy, who are evidently evil, and Trinity, Destiny and Faith in the wind. Trinity stealthily rescues Leo using a ship transport and they begin planning her return to Alera to take up the throne and continue the search for Queen Celene. The action moves quickly and more factions are introduced in the Aleran intrigue. It was another fast and fun read that left me wanting more.
