Book two in Nix and Destiny's story arc delivers more drama, heat and suspense. The tension really seems to ratchet up as we are closing in on the end of this series and finally getting the answers we all have been waiting for. I must say that Destiny and Nix are my favorite couple in this series and I honestly do not know which is hotter, the steam they generate with their passion or the heat from the sparks they generate from their battle of wills! Either way, I adore them and an enjoying every minute of their story. Still wish each book was longer though.

This is book 2 of 3 in the story of Princess Destiny and her mate, Nix attempting to rescue her mother, the Queen. They encountered so much murder, treason, deceit, and treachery in this attempt. Many steamy encounters also. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fun fast read. This is part two of Destiny and Nix’s relationship. He is not a fast learner and Destiny is busy kicking a@s and taking names while he is trying to protect her. Fun couple but this does end on a cliffhanger so I’m eagerly awaiting the next book. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
